A+ for AMAZING body work. Charlie did a deep tissue massage & got all the knots out of my neck, shoulders, and back-- smooth the ribbons and I feel brand new! I'm a new regular!

Just a shout out about my first session with you!, I've been receiving massages for quite some time, I consider myself a very good evaluator of not only a good massage/environment but also a good therapist! You made my experience very enjoyable & comforting, I feel you are a very strong woman and a good communicator. Both things that are extremely valuable

Yvonne - Denver, December, 2021

I have suffered from migraines and tension headaches for several years and have had massage experiences in the past that were just okay. Charlie asked appropriate questions, listened to my responses, and really focused on what I wanted to get out of the experience. I had my first seizure only 5 days before this appointment with All Bodies Massage, but my doctor said it would be okay to go ahead. Charlie made sure I was comfortable during the whole process. I truly believe my seizure recovery is going so smoothly because of Charlie. I have been headache-free for over a week now as well. I highly recommend Charlie - her technique and amount of care she put into my massage was beyond my expectations.

MOBILE MASSAGE FAQ’S

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK

What do I need to provide?

You need to provide a space clear of obstacles that's big enough for a twin bed (approximately a 6' wide by 8' long open area where your massage will take place), near an available outlet.

Most living rooms and hotel rooms have adequate space where I can set up.

I arrive with everything needed to provide a quality massage experience, including a comfortably outfitted massage table and relaxing music.

What if there’s not enough room for a massage table?

Yes, I require enough space for my table and to move around it comfortably, to provide a safe massage.

It is your responsibility to ensure adequate room by moving furniture before my arrival and estimating the available square footage.

If there is insufficient space, I will start the appointment clock from that moment until time is up. I will do my best to work in the available space, but cannot provide massage services in a bed or chair unless prearranged for medical reasons.

Per my cancellation policy, lack of space counts as a no-show and I will charge the full appointment amount.

How long does setup take?

With adequate clear space, setup takes about 5 minutes.

How long is a first mobile appointment?

Expect appointments to take 30 minutes longer than the booked time. For example, a one-hour noon massage may conclude around 1:30pm.

Setup takes up to ten minutes including accessing the massage space, moving obstacles, payment processing and cleanup. I also conduct a brief 10-minute medical interview before planning your massage. I build in a 10-minute buffer for potential delays.

What if I live in a secure building?

Please provide access codes, parking information, floor number, room number, and other relevant details via text when confirming your appointment or in the scheduling notes section.

Delays due to inadequate information will be deducted from the massage time.

Please direct me to parking and provide details if only paid parking is available. A $25/+ surcharge may apply at my discretion based on the parking situation and distance to your location.

What if no parking is available onsite?

Notify me by text or in the appointment notes section.

I can schedule you faster and with more accuracy if you inform me of the parking costs and location ahead of time.

Certain areas such as RHINO and LODO or near a venue during an event- I may charge a fee due to the cost and delay of parking far from your location and the added time it takes to load and unload.

This fee will vary depending on the time/cost involved in parking. The fee starts at $25.00.

Are there any other extra fees?

Yes, a $25 surcharge may apply if adequate free or low-cost parking is not available at your location.

Do you service locations outside your listed area?

Yes, for 3+ hour appointments I may consider out of area requests. For 2+ hour appointments I may consider requests with a $25 travel fee added.

MY APPROACH

My technique is strongly informed by neuromuscular and myofascial techniques to deliver lasting results and real positive changes over time. I provide deep tissue massage intelligently-which means you will feel an increased sense of relaxation and flexibility without an increase in pain and stiffness.

These combined techniques provide immediate results and over time provide long-lasting changes by addressing the nerve and connective tissue throughout our bodies, both of which are continually in communication with our brain and are particularly relevant to the mechanics of the muscular system. I use the latest research to inform my techniques always.

My Qualifications and experience:

I have twenty -five years of experience to draw on in each session, which started with a 1,500-hour Associates' degree in Massage Therapy and Health Sciences.

Since the completion of my internship, I have worked in concert with Chiropractors and Physical Therapists to reduce or eliminate pathologies in clients ranging in age from 5 to 80+, providing therapy that aids the recovery process post-surgery, and post-injury and the care necessary to manage chronic conditions and reach fitness goals.

I assist clients in making lifestyle changes that are integral in their recovery from chronic overuse syndromes such as carpal tunnel syndrome, and in some cases, I have helped clients avoid the need for surgery.

Some of my clients use massage to manage chronic pain and autoimmune symptoms successfully, so they can continue to lead productive, satisfying lives, others use my care to prepare for the Boston Marathon, college hockey finals, MMA fights and other sports events.

I am continually updating my techniques based on the research of my peers and taking helpful direction from adjacent healthcare fields, such as occupational therapy. Everything I do is inspired by my clients!

Here are some examples of how these systems are involved in the discomforts that massage therapy can reduce or eliminate:

Your nervous system affects your range of motion, inflammation levels, and coordination, e.g; having a stiff neck and shoulders, a sore lower back, having a hard time with activities that require balance.

The connective tissue wrapped around each muscle, ligament, bone, and organ in your body is integral to transmitting force when you throw a ball and providing stability as you sit at your computer. When you have a knot, it's often partially the fascia of one muscle sticking to another. Muscles that can't slide freely are weakened and will negatively affect the muscles that are required to compensate for their lack of function.

Scar tissue from acute injuries and chronic pathologies can impair nerve impulse conduction, circulation and limit range of motion in joints and muscle strength and flexibility. Massage therapy can reduce these impairments caused by scar tissue over time, reversing some of the function loss secondary to the formation of scar tissue.

My intention as your therapist (You’re more than “a body on the table” to me):

My clients have expressed frustration about how their needs were not addressed or their preferences were not acknowledged by other therapists, and I’ve heard them!

I will always provide professional-grade services and pay attention to your changing needs. I welcome seniors and youth to my practice- I believe people all ages deserve to experience the best quality of life possible.

Your input is a vital component of my treatment plan and I will do my best to remember your preferences.

I strive to address each person’s need to feel accepted and respected.

To me, there are no silly questions or strange requests.

Your boundaries are non-negotiable.

The treatment space is a private, safe space.
